Filmmaker Prakash Jha, buoyed by success of his Bollywood movie Rajneeti, is enamoured with Mahabharat. Yes.. Thats correct!! Prakash Jha seems to have rolled up his sleeves once again for his magnum opus ‘Draupadi’ which seems to be an adaption of the great Indian epic story Mahabharata.
Initially, Prakash Jha planned to cast Madhuri Dixit as the leading role for the hindi version but it didnt work. Now, he plans to do the same but in an English Version while casting the hottest Hollywood Actress Angelina Jolie in his mind.
While speaking to the news agencies a few days back, Prakash Jha commented “‘Draupadi’ is the ultimate tribute to womanhood. I’ve wanted to make it for years. Yes, Madhuri was my choice earlier. But now I’m going to make it as an international film with an international cast on a budget that would make the film a grand epic.”
“The actors have to be exotic in their features since my ‘Draupadi’ would be set in the mountains. If you’ve seen Peter Brooks’s celebrated stage adaptation of the Mahabharata it starred Mallika Sarabhai who does have exquisite features,” Prakash Jha added.

It has been alleged that Britney Spears has revealed that she was beaten up by her current boyfriend, Jason Trawick.
Star magazine has reported that Britney phoned her first husband and long time friend, Jason Alexander to complain that Trawick had given her a black eye.
Jason Alexander alledgedly told the mag that he had secretly taped the phone call on October 10, in which Britney reveals her boyfriend hit her.
He told the mag: "She said she couldn't even leave the house for a week because of the bruising."

A survey from the European dating site Smartdate found that a Laura, Cassandra, or Julia in France has a far more active sex life than an Anaïs, Colette, or Nicole.
While the average French woman reports 4.4 sex partners, women whose names end in "A" were more likely to have around nine. A big difference for one letter.
It all sounds trivial until you look at why. Traditional French names rarely end in "A," so those that do are usually from another language or culture, giving them an exotic allure. I still don't believe a name could make a nearly five sex-partner difference, though.
Smartdate concedes that female names ending in "A" are overrepresented on its site, which is odd for a country that underrepresents them. Maybe it should look at how many nonnatives (could be a more promiscuous population?) use Smartdate. Surely, they're more likely to turn to the Internet to meet people than those born and raised there, especially in a country so notoriously introverted.

If all goes according to plan, next year each of the bollywood superstars will go International with 2 films being directed by the most celebrated directors on the global map.a
What gives the global war of the Khans a cutting edge is the striking similarity in location of the two proposed projects. Both the films are set to be shot in Mumbai, with the city playing as large a role in the script for each of the Khans. While Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle is ready to adapt Suketu Mehta’s celebrated novel, Maximum City to screen featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir on the other hand is set to play the lead in Paul Schrader’s X-Treme City for producer Anubhav Sinha, to be shot in Dharavi.
Both films are realistic takes on present-day Mumbai, its splendour and stench. Boyle and Schrader have already visited Mumbai a number of times and met the two stars who have reportedly agreed to be part of the respective films.
According to a common friend of Aamir and Shahrukh, “At the end of the day, a film about life in Mumbai is a film about life in the city. Even if two different directors from two different continents (Boyle is British, Schrader is American) work on two different projects, the spirit of the city is bound to be a common thread.”
It is this overlap that the two filmmakers are said to be addressing. Says a source, “The teams behind both projects are aware that Mumbai is the hero of both films. Both films are going to be shot in crowded localities of Mumbai. The problem is to figure out how to give the two films different looks.”
Boyle has an edge, though. He has been there, done it before in Mumbai with Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire. He knows what facet of the city he will highlight in Maximum City.

Our Bong bombshell is being pampered and cared for at the Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast, Australia where she is for the shoot of her English film Singularity directed by Roland Joffe and co-starring Josh Hartnett. Talking about Bipasha Basu, the actress has been housed at the Palazzo Versace on the main beach of the Gold Coast, the world’s first fashion-branded hotel with design from the House of Versace. Her condo includes a living room, master bedroom, attached guest room and guest bathroom and has all the amenities of an apartment including a kitchen and enjoys the hotel facility of house keeping as well. There’s a chef to cook special meals for her.
It was Bipasha who made a choice for this hotel when she was asked to put forth her preference. Roland and Bipasha are in condos while Josh is at a place on the Broad Beach, as he didn’t want to be at the hotel. Bipasha is slogging hard for her new role and is training for horse-riding and swimming at the moment and has to start to learn sword fighting and fencing.

But Friends of the couple maintain the split is entirely amicable, and they plan to raise their daughter together.

Shah Rukh Khan was reportedly offered a whopping amount of Rs 4 crores, then next higher amount of Rs 2 crore was offered to Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif was convinced with Rs 1 crore.
The hot couple of Bollywood Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were reportedly offered Rs 2 crore but they denied to perform to keep themselves away from any kind of controversy.
Well, the stars are avoiding the wedding only to stay away from controversy but what about their so called starry status then? They earn quite a good amount just appearing in an endorsement and the films are the most respectable way of earning for them. Then why these stars even think of performing at a wedding just to get some extra money? Big Boss 3 in trouble........???

The third season of the television reality show Bigg Boss 3, hosted by Bollywood Actor Amitabh Bachchan Colors Tv channel, has currently landed up in trouble with the Information and Broadcasting Ministry on October 26, 2009 (Monday) sending a legal notice to the Colors Tv channel for “offending good taste” and for having used of vulgar language.
The Entertainment channel has been warned while at the same time being asked to show cause for its actions within forthcoming five days, failing which the channel will be forcibly taken off the air.
“Itss been brought to the notice of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting that certain parts of the reality show Bigg Boss 3 telecast and re-telecast on Colors channel offend against good taste and decency and are not suitable for unrestricted public exhibition,” says the notice issued to the Tv Channel.
The notice explains that the language used by some participants especially Actor Director Kamal R Khan is abusive and the show contains visuals which appear to be obscene and violative of the government’s programme code.
It also points out that recently in one of the visuals, one participant has been shown pulling down the shorts of another participant. “This has offended the sensibilities of many viewers,” says the notice.
The ministry has asked Colors not to carry content on the show that “constitutes a violation of the programme code as enshrined in the Cable TV Networks (Regulation) Act 1995,” failing which it will be taken off the air.
Recently, one of the participants in the show, actor-director Kamal R. Khan, was thrown out for violent behaviour.
The reality show is based on the international show Big Brother in which 13 celebrities are locked in a house for 84 days and monitored round-the-clock by 40 cameras.

"It's a franchise to potentially take over. I can't predict the future and what they want, but that's certainly the idea. I can't really go into the details of the script, because that's still evolving. It's Tom's baby. He's the engine behind the thing. What happens after that, we'll see."

So does "still evolving" mean that it's still being written, depending on what Tommy wants to happen?

We previously reported that New York City detectives were looking to question Denise Richards about the events that occurred at The Plaza Hotel last month, but authorities have contacted Charlie Sheen's rep to interview him as well.
Charlie's lawyer, Yale Galanter, will not say whether Charlie is available to be interviewed. All he said that that detectives reached out to the TV star's manager, Mark Burg.

29 Trapped miners died in New Zealand....

As 29 trapped miners have remained underground since Friday brought on by massive gas explosion in Greymouth, New Zealand, friends and family learned on Monday that the miners could not have survived a second explosion.
And now the town is devastated!
About 200 people attended a vigil for the miners, including Opposition leader Phil Goff, Greymouth Mayor Tony Kokshoorn and Pike River chief executive Peter Whittall. Daniel Rockhouse, who was rescued from the mine on Friday, also attended.
Pope Benedict XVI also sent his regards. He expressed condolences and sympathy for the tragic event and remembered the men in a special way in his prayers. He invoked a blessing to give people courage and strength.
As Pike River Coal chief Whittall told families about the second explosion, they were inconsolable.
Kokshoorn said:

"They told us there was a massive explosion and there was no way there were any survivors. We thought we were going to get some good news.
They just dropped to the floor. It's anger, as simple as that. It's just gut-wrenching. This is our darkest hour."

So sad. Our thoughts go out to the families.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film “Guzaarish”, starring Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan and the lovely Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to hit the theaters tomorrow.
Here is what both of them have to say about the movie and about each other….

“Our equation has been perfect. We both share the same amount of passion for films and our approach to our work is similar. We are selfless and enjoy teamwork. I remember the first shot I gave with Aishwarya 10 years ago for an ad, and till this time we have been able to sustain our equation,” Hrithik, told reporters Tuesday.
Hrithik feels that he shares a perfect equation with the actress.
“There were times when I used to show Aishwarya the shots I had given. Many times it happened that she used to walk out without giving any reaction and I used say to myself, ‘I have to do the shot again’,” said the 36-year-old actor, who was spiritedly promoting the film despite being down with fever.

“That level of communication and honesty comes only when you are friends and there are no ego hassels,” he added.
Hrithik was also full of praise for Bhansali, with whom he worked for the first time in the film.
“Guzaarish”, a story about a magician who becomes quadriplegic when one of his tricks goes wrong. Catch the flick tomorrow (19th Nov).

Sophia Egeler says that the two met at an Ultimate Fighting show at the O2 Area in London and Parker immediately began pursuing her. She says:

According to sources, Tony is very angry with Eva for asking for spousal support in her divorce filing and equally annoyed that she announced to the world his indiscretions. Their conversations behind closed doors have reportedly been "heated" and quite unfriendly. A source explains:

Christina Aguilera's floptacular album Bionic could very possibly be reissued in connection with the singer's promotion of her debut movie role in Burlesque.
The album has sold less than 500,000 copies worldwide so why would her label want to re-release an album that nobody was interested the first time aorund?
RCA VP Scott Seviour said, "It's not like the music industry, where the talent comes out two weeks before the album. They started at the end of July. Burlesque ideally gives us the opportunity to remarket Bionic."
So what does Xtina have to say about the reissue of her album?

Attorney Norman Yatooma claims that a stripper received $1,000 for performing at a dope-fueled party held at the Detroit mayor's mansion under the supervision of former mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
An exotic dancer, Tamika Ruffin, gave a statement that she saw Kilpatrick's wife attack a woman with a table leg or board who was giving the former mayor a lap dance.
Yatooma is the lawyer for another stripper killed after the 2002 party. The statement was in response to Kilpatrick and the city trying to dismiss a lawsuit from the family of Tamara Greene, the 27-year-old who was shot to death in 2003 after attending the party. Her family believes that city officials are attempting to suppress the investigation.
No one has been charged and the city denies squashing the investigation.

Since they are becoming predominately internet screening, they are going to start spending more money to license streaming content this quarter than it will on buying DVDs.

The recent comment made by Deepika Padukone, on Koffee with karen, about she gifting Ranbir Kapoor a condom, has raised a storm in the media.
While on the chat show with karan, during the rapid fire round, some of Deepika’s replies surprised both the host and the co-guest Sonam Kapoor.
When Deepika was asked what she would like to gift Ranbir, she said it would be “a pack of condoms”

Warner Bros to make buffy reboot......

Warner Bros. has announced that they're planning to remake the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie that originally came out in 1992 and was later revamped and turned into the critically acclaimed series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar.
The reboot, which is said to hit theaters in 2012 or late 2011, will not feature Buffy in her high school years. Dark Knight producer Charles Roven and newcomer Whit Anderson are said to be remaking the film that will capture the "witty, tough, and sexy" heroine in a brand new way.
We are not liking this. Without creator Joss Whedon or the original cast, we're afraid this has failure written all over it. It's going to have to be pretty spectacular if it's going to impress us.

In one of the scenes in the movie, Sunny tells Bobby that gone are the days when one could get married by climbing on a water tank, which is a clear reference to his dad’s act in Sholay. Yamla Pagla Deewana will also have the popular dialogue of Sholay in which Veeru tells Gabbar Singh, ‘Kuttey Mein Tera Khoon Pee Jaunga’. Some of the memorable songs, dialogues and popular captions from the films of the three actors will be referred in this movie. This will surely keep the audience hooked to this fun-filled movie.

Why is Katrina and Saif not coming together onscreen again?

This odd pairing was a hit with the audience and several filmmakers have tried to cast them together since then. There is a report that none of the filmmakers could manage to bring the powerful pair together again.
So, why did they fail to sign them in a film? Does it mean that the filmmakers are in dearth of good scripts? Probably the scripts could not impress both the stars or may be the role was not that impressive as was in Race.

The 29-year-old socialite – who has been dating the Dallas Cowboys player since August – is said to have “called time” on their relationship before heading to Europe with mum, Kris Jenner. “They broke up about a week ago. It’s typical after a break for Kim to take some time by herself. When she broke up with Reggie Bush she went to Mexico and now after her break with Miles she went to Europe.”

Gosh, it seems like just yesterday we were reporting on how Spencer Pratt admitted he failed miserably as a husband. No, sillies, it wasn’t yesterday! That was a whole weekend ago! Yep, two days ago Spencer was proclaiming to the world what a bad husband he is, and here is news that these two media hungry reality has beens are back together. Now, I am not a religious woman. But today’s news that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are back together makes me want to crumble to my knees, tears in my eyes, and raise my voice to the heavens, praising the goodness and sweetness of any deities that ensured that this perfect love would remain intact. It’s really quite a miracle. A miracle of miracles, even. Just when you think all hope is lost for the perfectest and prettiest and most golden couple to ever exist, they realize that they are, in fact, meant to be. He says his 12-hour detainment at a Costa Rica airport for arms possession has given him the chance he always wanted to reconcile, and described his time there as the “wildest day ever of either of our lives” leading to sparked hope that she might drop her divorce filing. He told the Huffington Post:

“It was clear we’re soulmates. I don’t see any reason we can’t get back on track.”

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition, am I right? Anyway, the world is totally a better place today. In other news, the sky is blue and birds are pretty. Shall we state the obvious? This is something we’ve been saying all along Spencer. There. It’s been said. But since he’s finally admitted it….so the story goes…Spencer Pratt has issued a public apology to soon-to-be-ex-wife Heidi Montag, admitting that he “let her down” and caused her undue “pain and suffering.” According to People.com, Pratt offered the following mea culpa:

“Divorce can be a trying, draining, and emotionally devastating experience for all involved. Despite these hardships, most individuals manage to conduct themselves with dignity and maturity. I did not – I failed spectacularly. I horribly embarrassed the one person that meant the world to me. For my outrageous and infantile behavior, I offer Heidi my most sincere apologies.”

That’s sweet and everything, Spencer, but it begs two pressing questions: 1.) If you are now straying from infantile behavior and are hoping to be dignified and mature, why are you offering an apology via such an insanely public forum? Why not contact her through her lawyer to offer your sincerest sorries, like every other failing husband in America. How about writing an actual pen-to-paper letter, spraying it with Embrace Chaos cologne and sealing it with a kiss direct from your fuzzy goatbeardy face? And b.) Where’s OUR apology, Spencer Pratt? We have not suffered inconsiderably, you know! We’ve had to deal with the daily ins and outs of your trashy boring self and your trashy boring wife being boring and trashy. Well, if it weren’t for Paris Hilton, you have to wonder just how Vegas hotel mogul Cy Waits would make headlines, at least he would have to wonder. If it weren’t for Paris he would be just another guy with just another DUI under his belt. These two just can’t seem to stay out of trouble though, but that’s what happens when you live a lifestyle that involves drug trafficking and DUI’s. The most recent incident surrounding these two involves a hit and run with some paparazzi. And you know how annoying they can be, especially if your name is Paris. To deliver those priceless shots of celebrities sitting impatiently in their cars, the paparazzi go to extraordinary lengths. One woman, known only as Carol, says she had her leg run over by Paris Hilton’s boyfriend, Cy Waits, last night while draped across their car. Truly heroic. The ages must know Paris Hilton went out for dinner at Boa! Cy, who is already in enough trouble after he was busted for a D.U.I. in Vegas last month, was waiting to drive home with Paris after a night out at the West Hollywood steakhouse Boa. When photographers wouldn’t clear a path, he accelerated, knocking over the American hero herself, Carol. Cy did stop long enough to roll down his window and ask if she was okay, Radar reports. Someone told him she was, and so off Cy and Paris sped into the night. But apparently she wasn’t so okay, because an ambulance took her to the hospital, so someone else could put a band-aid on the scrape she got on her knee. Once Paris was safely dropped off at home with her many, many puppies and dozens of self-portraits, Cy came back to the scene of the scraping and answered questions for police. He was charged with a hit and run, according to TMZ, although Radar disagrees, reporting that no charges have been filed. Meanwhile, Paris stayed at home and funnelled her rage into more creative pursuits, yes that means Twitter. “Lovely evening with friends and family ruined by aggressive paparazzi,” she Tweeted. “They are literally insane!” Yikes, I actually agree with Paris. That’s unusual. If I start stashing animals in a handbag, please put Dina Lohan in charge of my conservatorship.

Since then, they’ve been spotted multiple times around Paris, as well as hanging out in L.A., where Olivier met Halle’s mother. Even though they’re currently in L.A., stepping out Thursday night to a party at a Hollywood art gallery, Halle’s earthly possessions are already at Olivier’s in France. Before this news came out, the woman Eddie left for LeAnn, his ex-wife Brandi Glanville, told that new View-copy The Talk on Thursday she wants to have a face-to-face with Leann. Brandi was shocked when Eddie and Leann were busted having an affair last year after filming the Nora Roberts TV movie Northern Lights. “My marriage–in my head–was not in trouble,” she said. Well, it’s probably best Brandi and Leann get everything out on the table now, so Leann knows what to expect when the priest says, “Speak now or forever hold your piece.” Just to get through her pilates, Brandi has been driven to drink three or four glasses of wine per day. the world mourns for lily allen........

We are seeing Lily Allen dressing down for her final performance at the Big Chill Festival before she put a kibosh on her career to be a mom for a little while and announced a five year break from music. Dressed in comfy pants, kooshy flat sneaks, and an oversized flannel top that doesn’t do much to hide her growing mummy tummy, Lily is in all her pregnant glory. And we can see just how darling and cute she looks as a mommy to be, and she is glowing with the pending happiness of motherhood as well. But, sadly enough, we have to report that this glow and this shine and this happiness we’ve been waiting for Lily for so long, has come to an end…at least for now. The 25-year-old singer lost her unborn child six months into the pregnancy last week, and was rushed back into hospital on Friday suffering from septicaemia, a form of blood poisoning. It started with the miscarriage, where she was rushed to the hospital, and she ended up back there just a few days later to find this pregnancy is sadly ending with some fairly serious health problems for Lily. Her publicist provided this official statement to The Sun:

“Lily Allen is back in hospital, where she is being treated for septicaemia. She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve. Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers.”

This is not the first time Lily has experienced this pain, in 2008 she lost a baby at four months and lost the relationship she was in simultaneously. We do know that she and Sam Cooper are stronger than ever relationship wise, and are glad to hear she has some tremendous support during this terrible time. Our thoughts and prayers of healing and strength go to Lily Allen and Sam Cooper at this time. We EAGERLY await good news and smiles for Lily as soon as she is feeling better, and on the mend. We love you Lily!

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are bankrupt, shocking.....!!

Well if these two weren’t the fakest couple in Hollywood then I don’t know who is. You almost want to say they deserve an award of some sort for being such big fakers, but…who wants to reward liars? Here is Heidi Montag putting on a stellar performance with “divorce papers” in hand at a Santa Monica courthouse. And it was only months after this event where she and Spencer came public about the fact that this divorce was a huge sham. And now well….it looks like these kids have some money problems on their hands. Shocking, we know. The couple – who recently rekindled their relationship after a fake separation in April – have squandered their $10 million fortune on renting a $35,000-a-month Malibu home, wasting $3 million on Heidi’s failed music career, six cars, private jets and the blonde beauty’s cosmetic surgery and are now faced with a $2 million tax bill they are unable to pay. Spencer said:

“We were immature, worrying too much about the famous part instead of the actual business part. In hindsight, we shouldn’t have spent any of our money. We should have been low-key and saved. We spoke with a bankruptcy attorney and I’ve looked into unemployment check.”

The pair have been left homeless and are now living in a studio apartment in the grounds of Spencer’s parents’ home. Spencer admitted to Life and Style magazine:

“I feel like I’m 14 years old again. My parents are my lifeline.” Heidi added: “Spencer’s parents go to the grocery store for us once a week and that’s all we get.”

Heidi admitted she even considered stripping for Playboy magazine before her husband’s parents gave them somewhere to live. She said: “At our lowest point, I considered posing for nude pictures in Playboy.” The pair blame their downturn in fortunes due the their reality TV show ‘The Hills’ suddenly being cancelled after four seasons, with the final series being shortened from 20 episodes to 10. Spencer explained: “We thought ‘The Hills’ was going to be like ’90210′ and we’d have another five to 10 years.

“The ratings were consistent. But we never saw ‘Jersey Shore’ coming. Before, TV audiences were fine with seeing us all argue, but now they want you to punch one another in the face and hook up with three different people. Our cast was a bit boring and snoozeworthy in comparison. No wonder we got cancelled.”

Despite their struggles, the couple insist they are not seeking sympathy. Spencer said: “We don’t want sympathy. We did this to ourselves and feel like idiots. But we’ve grown up and are definitely not as naive anymore.” At this point, it’s really….like REALLY…hard to believe a thing that either of them say. Courteney Cox and David arquette may not be so over after all

David Arquette is spotted here enjoying his “separation” from wife Courteney Cox, as he hits the Las Palmas Lounge for his nightly entertainment. And though by all looks and accounts he is enjoying the single life, it sounds like the he said/she said thing that has been happening with David, Courteney, and Howard Stern may come to an end. It sounds like they are putting a quasi-retraction on the end of their marriage. Or something. Do these folks need the publicity? Or are they just….really not sure. We aren’t either, but this is the latest news that their trip to divorce court may not actually happen after all. But it is confirmed that Courteney Cox and David Arquette are putting the brakes on their trip to splitsville. “I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced,” Courteney told TV Week. Married people staying together in Hollywood? That doesn’t sound right. And more importantly, do David’s girlfriends know this? Courteney isn’t listening to THAT. She told TV Week:

“This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage.”

Courteney and David announced last month that they had been separated for a few months, but they’ve continued to see each other. They were both with their six-year-old daughter Coco at her horse show on October 17, and were planning to take her trick-or-treating as of yesterday. That might be what David Arquette was talking about when he poured his heart out to Howard Stern (again) last week.

“We gotta kind of make this separation more separate. It’s just not so easy to communicate.”

Even though he said Courteney was “pissed” that he had spoken to Howard Stern about their split, Courteney wasn’t bitter. In her interview with TV Week she said:

“[David] is a kook. It’s not shocking and Howard Stern, he loves him, and I’m a fan of Howard Stern… David is an entertainer and I’m sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories.”

It’s like she’s in my head! Luckily for the Cox-Arquettes, they have Her Royal Highness of dumpsville, Miss Jennifer Aniston, to guide them. “It’s funny, a lot of really close friends are kind of going through this right now,” Courteney, whose friend Laura Dern is also divorcing her husband of five years Ben Harper, told TV Week. “Or like Jennifer [who] has gone through it. I don’t know what’s going on in the planets or what, but things are being shaken up and I don’t know what’s going to happen, but, yeah, Jennifer has been amazing for sure.” It would be encouraging for Courteney and David to be that rare celebrity couple that actually does get back together. It would make living through them vicariously just that much more satisfying. But Courteney wants David to grow up, and considering he’s hanging out at 90210 stars Jessica Stroup and Shenae Grimes’ birthday party, I’m thinking he’s not quite there yet. Well, we have certainly seen Jessica Simpson in a lot of moods since her divorce from Nick Lachey, which was followed by about twelve breakups with Player Mayer, a heartbreak from heartthrob Tony Romo, and the list goes on. So, for some, it may be difficult to guess what exactly is causing the sad look on Jessica’s face this time. Here she is proving just how healthy her relationship with former husband Nick Lachey really is, as she was spotted here in the car after leaving Red O restaurant from a night of dining…with ex husband Nick Lachey and his new fiancée Vanessa Minnilo. While those of us in reality land have seen this coming for some time, for Jessica, it was quite the nail on the marriage coffin and her face says it all. And if you can’t guess what she is thinking, her “people” and our friend “Close Source” have all the juice. The official word is that Jessica is “deeply saddened” by ex-husband Nick Lachey’s engagement. The blonde beauty is said to be upset her former spouse – who she married in October 2002 – has proposed to current partner Vanessa Minnillo, who he started dating just months after his divorce from the ‘Dukes of Hazard’ star was finalized in 2006. A source close to Jessica – who famously vowed to stay a virgin until she got married – said:

“Even though Jessica wants to be happy for Nick, this is a very difficult time for her. Nick was the love of her life then and he was her first, so she will always have a very special place in her heart for him. She’s deeply saddened.”

According to friends of Nick – who briefly separated from Vanessa last summer before the pair reconciled – the singer had not planned to marry again after being hurt so badly from his union with Jessica, but finally feels secure in his relationship with the actress. George W. Bush Still Irritated With Kanye West....

Oh well, this just goes to show that when the truth hurts, it can hurt for a while. Or not. Hard to say why, but “tight lipped” George W. Bush is still disgruntled over some comments Kanye West made in the wake of Hurricane Katrina…five years and one President ago. But it’s true. And, like most other big stars, George W. went straight to Matt Lauer to talk about it. Who wouldn’t, really. He told Matt Lauer that Kanye West’s shocking statement that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” in the wake of Hurricane Katrina was “one of the most disgusting moments in my Presidency.” Spike Lee made a 256 minute documentary with the same sentiment, but I guess George is more of a Tom Hanks movie kind of man. You can expect to see these quotes airing on Monday November 8:

“I didn’t appreciate it then. I don’t appreciate it now. It’s one thing to say, ‘I don’t appreciate the way he’s handled his business.’ It’s another thing to say, ‘This man’s a racist.’ I resent it, it’s not true, and it was one of the most disgusting moments in my Presidency.”

And that’s out of a lot of disgusting moments! During the interview, Matt read an excerpt from George Bush’s upcoming memoir Decision Points, which comes out November 9.

“I faced a lot of criticism as President. I didn’t like hearing people claim that I lied about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction or cut taxes to benefit the rich. But the suggestion that I was racist because of the response to Katrina represented an all time low.”

For Kanye, he is so over the Bush thing. He’s still trying to explain why he stormed the stage when Taylor Swift won her MTV Video Award. “The situation is bigger to me than the Bush moment,” he told New York radio station Hot 97. Weighing in on an argument between George Bush and Kanye West is like making a call on which dying moose has a more beautiful voice. Maybe George Bush should have done, I don’t know, anything to change the perception that he doesn’t care about black people. But also, IT’S KANYE. Aw, she’s just too cute for words. While belting out one of her songs from the top deck of her tour bus for some fans in Hollywood, America’s latest sweetheart stopped to pause to make a heart shape out of her fingers, leaving many fans wondering just who is that man putting a smile on her face. Luckily, we found out. It sounds like the heart was meant for a certain someone, as Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal have reportedly spent another marathon love weekend together, They were engaged in some pretty enthusiastic hand-holding. Perverts! Sweethearts! We can’t decide. They were spotted at the Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, California, about 250 miles south of San Francisco. The poster people for good behaviour were seen holding hands with their arms wrapped around each other. And Taylor was even wearing a BERET. Does a date get anymore Very Special Blossom than that? So far, so adorable. They’re both pretty low-key, so hopefully it doesn’t get messy (see Jonas, Joe). But let’s just underline that they were having breakfast at an inn in the middle of nowhere. Does that not sound like a sleepover? I guess we’ll have to wait for Taylor’s fourth album, tentatively titled The Night I Lost It At An Inn.
